We implemented our paint your school (PYS) initiative at International School, Lagos on the 23rd of September, 2022. We initially planned for 50 students to participate in the PYS but an additional 25 students turned up. One of the participants commented “we had fun painting our classrooms and it was quite awesome” another participant commented “great event, we have learned to take responsibility for our learning environment” Other participants comment include “we learnt how to work as a team” “I now understand that taking care of your environment is key as learning is improved in a clean environment”.
The feedback by these brilliant minds are some of the reasons why we continue to implement our paint your school initiative in various schools across the Country.
