RETECH Foundation Sets up 10 RFBCs at Imaguero College, Benin

At Imaguero College in Benin City, Edo State, we established 10 RETECH Foundation Book Clubs (RFBCs) to drive and motivate students to once again love books and spark up a reading culture which we believe will help them in their academic pursuits and careers.

A 100 book club members drawn from SS1 and SS2 received 100 literary books from RETECH Foundation. Each RFBC which comprises 10 members, will gather once a month for book reviews. The activities of the book clubs will be coordinated by Mrs Ugiagbe, a teacher in the school.

We would like to thank RETECH Foundation’s Coordinator in Benin City, Mrs Adobi Ilevbare for liaising with the Ministry of Education in Edo State, organising the book clubs and presenting the books to the book club members.

We are also grateful to the Commissioner for Education, The Permanent Secretary and the Director of Schools in the Edo State Ministry of Education for the roles they played in making this happen. Our thanks also go to the principal and management of Imaguero College.
