RETECH Foundation secures ‘Small Scale Project Fund’ from the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany, Lagos

RETECH Foundation secures ‘Small Scale Project Fund’ (SSPF) from the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany, Lagos to support its ‘Paint Your School’ (PYS) Initiative to be implemented in the following schools – Queens College, Kings College, FGGC Owerri and FGC Warri.

Commenting on the grant, Ronye Egborge, Chair and Trustee, RETECH Foundation said, ‘’RETECH Foundation is delighted to have secured the SSPF from the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany. This fund is instrumental in furthering the foundation’s goal to instill Good Citizenship attributes in our public secondary school pupils.”

Olabimpe Alabi, Programme Coordinator, RETECH Foundation and Elele Ogunsanya, Programme Manager  (commercial, political, cultural and press section), Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany, Lagos at the Agreement signing at RETECH Foundation’s office in Lagos, Nigeria on the  21st of April 2021.

The SSPF aims to improve the social economic situation of Nigerians with a focus on community development projects. The SSPF achieves this through the provision of funding in support of the relevant activities linked to these projects.

The RETECH Foundation PYS Initiative was launched on the 27th of November 2020 in UDSS Benin, it was designed to enable SS1 pupils participate in the painting of their classrooms and is aimed at ensuring that the pupils develop the right attitude required for success such as, taking responsibility, helping out, and teamwork.

RETECH Foundation looks forward to implementing the PYS initiative in the aforementioned schools in the coming months.
