RETECH Foundation Launches its Ethics & Integrity Club (E&I Club)

RETECH Foundation launches its Ethics & Integrity Club (E&I Club) initiative at the International School, University of Lagos (ISL). The E&I Club is one of our Good Citizenship Programme which offers stimulating community development initiatives in public secondary schools across Nigeria that teach students values, traits, and behaviours of a good and committed citizen together with skills development to empower and equip them to lead a better life and pave the way for a better future for Nigeria and future generations.

The E&I Club seeks to curtail corruption and unethical conduct hindering Nigeria’s development by creating awareness among young children about core values and principles that can be adopted to promote personal responsibility, transparency, and accountability. The E&I Club is designed to enable young children to pursue ethics and integrity as the foundations of their lives; empower them to design and implement innovative ideas to promote integrity, transparency, and accountability in their respective schools and communities; and give young children an opportunity to discuss and interact in a structured manner on moral dilemmas which they encounter in their lives.

The opportunities offered by the E&I Club are endless and we are proud to have our Programmes Coordinator, Olabimpe Alabi championing the design and implementation of this initiative. We thank immensely the Principal of ISL, Mr Kolawole Olutayo Amusan and members of staff of ISL for giving us the opportunity to engage the brilliant senior secondary school students of ISL on the E&I Club initiative. The senior secondary school students of ISL demonstrated a keen understanding of ethics, integrity and corruption and their impact on the economy, society and political stability. They are excited to implement an E&I Club in their school which will be supported by Retech Foundation.
