Each club brings together 10 enthusiastic members who will gather monthly to explore the world of books. To kick start this journey, we distributed 100 captivating books to our 100 book club members. Our State Coordinator, Mr Kwasu Katung was at the school on Monday the 3rd of October, 2023 to launch the book clubs. He was received by the principal of the school, Mr. Ali Musa Yahaya and Vice Principal, Mrs Murna Umaru as well as the Head of the Languages Department, Mrs Veronica Chat Kubai. Speaking on behalf of the Principal, The Vice-Principal expressed the appreciation of the school and encouraged the book clubs members to use the books wisely.
Our heartfelt gratitude extends to the Ministry of Education in Kaduna State, along with the Commissioner of Education, Permanent Secretary, and Director of Schools for their invaluable support and collaboration. We also extend our appreciation to the school’s dedicated leaders—the Principal, Vice Principal, and Head of the Languages Department—for their enthusiastic involvement in overseeing the Retech Foundation Book Clubs’ activities.
Together, we’re fostering a lifelong love for reading and learning among these students! ????
