Who We Are
Neil began his career and training with a firm of Chartered Accountants in central UK and eventually moved into financial roles for the National Health Service and later for a growing national IT consultancy. Over the next 20 years he worked for a German, precision-engineering group (EagleBurgmann, a sub-group of the ultimate parent Freudenberg group) who supplied goods into the oil & gas as well as various chemical and pharmaceutical industries. During that time, Neil progressed from the UK Financial Controller, to the Commercial and Financial Director, eventually leading to a multi-national role as the Senior Director of Finance for the North Europe region, responsible for the UK, Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands and Poland. These roles covered areas ranging from mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, large capital projects to corporate turnaround leadership. Neil also supported the global roll-out of the Microsoft Dynamics ERP system and was partially responsible for the implementation, testing and reporting configuration in the UK, South Africa, Czech Republic and France.
In early 2019 Neil left the Freudenberg Group to join a multi award-winning UK manufacturing and engineering company as the Chief Commercial Officer alongside 3 other executives who form the new management structure, spearheading some of the world’s most power dense electric motors with applications in motorsport, hyper-cars and automotive. The company continues to expand on a global scale and is now actively involved in a far wider list of industries and applications and Neil is responsible for the legal, commercial, financial, manufacturing, quality, facilities and climatic testing departments as well as sales, marketing and business development.
Neil is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and holds an Executive MBA (with distinction) from Oxford University.
