Daniella Jarikre

Daniella Jarikre is a Nigerian finance expert with a distinguished career of over 20 years in the finance sector mostly spent in banking, with a stint in the non–bank finance industry.

She holds a BA (Honours) degree in English Literature from the University of Jos (Plateau State, Nigeria) and has attended several international and local pre-requisite trainings. She also holds a Global Executive MBA from the prestigious IE Business School, Madrid.

Her banking career where she currently holds the position of Senior Manager has been spent between UBA Plc, NNB International Bank (now Unity Bank) Stanbic IBTC Bank (a Member of the Standard Bank Group) and Ecobank (The Pan African Bank). She has worked in various capacities in Branch Management, Electronic Banking & Transaction, Private Banking & Wealth Management, Relationship Management, International Personal Banking & recently in Commercial Banking. Her brief stint in a non–bank finance institution, was at ARM Investment, Managers, where she was in Business Development.

She is passionate about the transfer of knowledge and volunteers as faculty member at capacity building trainings. She has run several programmes at faith-based organisations, financial institutions and oil & gas companies. Her areas of core competence are in Digital Sales , Service Excellence / Customer Service, Negotiations, Relationship Management, Emotional Intelligence & Strategy .

Daniella has sponsored several strategic alliances between businesses, one being the strategic relationship between Stanbic IBTC Bank and IE Business School, making it easy for executives who would like to pursue executive programs in IE have access to flexible student aids through affordable loans. To encourage the culture of reading in youths, she contributes to several book drive campaigns for non-profit organisations.

In her effort to give back professionally, she mentors several ladies at different capacities and is currently a member of the Ecobank Graduate Trainee Governing Board.

When she is not working, she enjoys travel, gardening and is an avid concert goer. She also loves classical music and is a member of the Musical Society of Nigeria (MUSON).
