Reading books improve social skills and emotional intelligence which are vital life skills for work and life after school. This is one of the reasons we have established and launched 10 RETECH Foundation Book Clubs (RFBC) at Aquinas College, Akure.
At the event, books were presented to the 100 RFBC members by our volunteers in Akure – Ifeoluwa Abe, Adejumobi Aladetan, Olamide Kolawole, Mojisola Cyril-Olutayo, Anthony Ogedengbe (Tony Clown) and Praise Adebisi.
We appreciate the club coordinators- Mrs. Ajulo and Mr. Oderinde – the HOD, Languages – Mrs. Ayejoto and the Principal, Mr. Afolabi Oni Michael for their roles in the success of the book clubs’ establishment and launch in their school.
