Murtala Omale

Murtala holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Yola (now Modibbo Adama University of Technology Yola) and a Master of Science degree in Oil and Gas Engineering from The Robert Gordon University, UK. He has over 13 years’ Subsea Engineering experience both in Design and Project Engineering with core expertise in Subsea Installation Engineering. Murtala has worked for numerous renowned multinational companies such as Subsea 7, DOF Subsea, BP and Total. He is currently the Managing Director of O’Malley Engineering Ltd, UK.

He is a certified Project Management Practitioner, a Chartered Mechanical Engineer and a member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers UK. He is also a member of the Project Management Institute, USA.

He is interested in mentoring anyone with the necessary prerequisite knowledge and experience who is working towards obtaining a professional qualification with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, the Project Management Institute or general continuous professional development.
